- Minnesota Public Transit Association (MPTA), represents transit providers, transit advocates and transit riders. We are the only transit organization comprised of bus service providers from all over the the State of Minnesota. We represent small, rural bus systems as well as large urban systems. MPTA is committed to securing a balanced, transportation funidng package that includes a dedicated transit account.
- Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA), a member of MPTA, is a joint powers organization including the cities of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Rosemount and Savage. MVTA currently provides bus service -- both fixed route and flexible route -- in Dakota and Scott counties. MVTA has grown to become the third largest transit agency in the State of Minnesota.
- Transit for Livable Communities (TLC) is a non-profit organization working to increase transportation choices in Minnesota, including biking, walking and bus and rail transit. TLC conducts research, provides public education and supports advocacy and organizing efforts to improve transportation and land use planning.
