Support the House Omnibus Transportation Bill
You can take action on this alert by reading the information below and following the

Send a letter-to-the-editor to your local newspaper and send an email to your Representative
Letters-to-the-editor are the best way for our message to reach a broad audience and put public pressure on the Governor to sign the Transportation bill and deliver for transit.
Your letter should be brief. 5-7 sentences or 2 paragraphs are all it takes.
Tell your story and explain how you use or support transit. You could then explain that you support the House Transportation bill because it will build an affordable and convenient public transit system.
Your message could emphasize some or all of these points:
1. The House Transportation bill is a balanced, multimodal package that will help us begin to build the transit system we need now and in the future.
2. I applaud the courage and foresight our Representatives had in voting for this transportation funding package.
3. We now have a bi-partisan transportation plan and the Governor should sign it to do what is right for Minnesota.
4. Will the Governor choose a balanced, bi-partisan transportation plan or will he choose allegiance to his no-new-taxes pledge.
