Central Corridor needs $70 million to move forward this year.
Earlier this session, Governor Pawlenty vetoed $70 million in bonding funds for Central Corridor. Those funds are needed this session to ensure that Central stays on track this year. Without them, we risk delaying the project for at least one year and probably more. Minnesota will likely lose $450 million in matching federal funds and delay much-needed development for the corridor and important economic support for the region.
