Complete Streets will mean safer roads for all Minnesotans (2010)
You can take action on this alert by reading the information below and following the
directions at the bottom.

Serious momentum is building for Complete Streets at the Capitol! Please show your support for safe roads for all Minnesotans.
Complete Streets legislation means that our streets are planned to be safe and accessible for pedestrians, transit riders, bicyclists, and drivers -- all users, regardless of age or ability. This law, which is supported by the MN Department of Transportation, would implement a flexible transportation planning and design process that considers safety and accessibility for all users. In order to become law, the Complete Streets bill must pass House and Senate committees, and then go to the floor in both bodies. Once it passes through the House and Senate (probably by mid-March), it will go to the Governor for (we hope) his signature.
State Representatives and Senators need to hear from you (a constituent!) about your support for safer roads in Minnesota. We've learned that increasingly, legislators will discount "mass emails" (the click and send type).
Please contact your legislators using the template below.
Personalize your message, stay positive, focus on safety, and add a brief story of why Complete Streets is important to you.
