Complete Streets will be heard in the House on Wednesday

The MN House of Representatives will vote on Complete Streets legislation this Wednesday at 9:00am! The Senate will vote soon as well (Complete Streets has already passed all committees in both the House and Senate).

Please CALL your legislators. Legislators do NOT pay as much attention to mass emails. So please call your legislator and leave a personal message for them. Use the guide below to prepare what you want to say.

Here's a sample: "Hi, my name is [your name]. I'm a constituent and live at [your address]. I'm calling today to ask you to support Complete Streets legislation (HF2801/SF2461) when it comes up for a vote on the floor. This legislation is important to me. Thank you for your time.

Sample reasons for support:
* I want my children to be able to safely walk or bike in my city.
* I don't like to drive but don't feel safe walking or bicycling where I need to go.
* Our roads aren't safe for people unless they're in a car - Complete Streets will help change that.
